THE LEGEND OF SNOWMOON

 

Snowmoon began when Andy and Jessie, who had been musical collaborators since high school, started a new project and were in need of a drummer. After a long search, they found Noel and the band was finally formed in the Fall of 2014 in Miami, Florida. Having all been in various rock bands, orchestras, choirs, & jazz groups, in addition to studying music through college, their musical influences vary widely - including Japan’s math scene, 90s alternative, classic rock, classical, and international jazz.

In 2016 the band was featured as a finalist and performed in the first ever Okeechobee Music and Arts Festival Showcase event "Destination Okeechobee" at The Beacham in Orlando Florida. The group released their debut EP, “Afterglow,” in February 2017. Written and recorded in the heart of Miami, the EP also made its way across the country where it was mixed and mastered by Fred Sladkey (Beyonce, Pat Metheny, Madonna). Snowmoon has also worked with a number of notable music video directors, including Julian Yuri & Panda (Cake), Ike Anyanwu (Shadow), and Milcho (Closer).

Snowmoon is currently in the studio working on their full length concept album, which is part of a multi-media project with an accompanying graphic novel and is set to be released mid-2021.
